XRANGE
PlannedA technology-led driving range built as a destination: competition bays, a sports bar, an events programme and a facade that does the marketing for you. Concept and design stage — no site, opening date or operator is confirmed.
Architectural visualisation. Concept design, not a photograph of a built venue.
The idea
A range that earns its evening
A driving range is quiet for most of the day and empty for most of the year. XRANGE is designed the other way round: hitting bays are one of several reasons to be there, and the building works whether or not you have ever held a club.
Tracked bays with scoring turn practice into a game anyone can join. A central bar, table service and an events calendar make the space worth booking for a group. The result is a venue with more than one revenue line and a much longer working day.
Arrival
The building is the sign
The facade carries the brand at architectural scale rather than bolting a logo onto a shed. The X-frame lighting reads from the road at night and reduces to a quiet grey volume by day.
Inside
Bays, bar and everything between
The plan puts food and drink at the centre of the floor rather than at the end of it, so a group can sit together whether or not everyone is hitting.
How it connects
Where the ecosystem shows up
A venue is the clearest test of whether a shared gateway is worth building. Booking, paying, scoring and membership all touch the same identity.
